Valaisan de Bretagne, \u00e0 moins qu\u2019il n\u2019ait \u00e9t\u00e9 Breton du Valais, il \u00e9tait de toutes les f\u00eates, de tous les rires, de tous les voyages. Nous le savions malade mais son infinie discr\u00e9tion nous faisait presque oublier sa peine. Michel vient de nous quitter \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge de 77 ans. Nous sommes tous tr\u00e8s \u00e9mus mais, pour lui rendre l\u2019hommage qu\u2019il m\u00e9rite, nous penserons \u00e0 la tendresse tendre et ironique de son sourire plut\u00f4t qu\u2019\u00e0 la grande tristesse de sa disparition. C\u2019est donc tout naturellement qu\u2019il d\u00e9buta comme stagiaire journaliste \u00e0 Ouest-France mais l\u2019amour d\u2019une Valaisanne allait en d\u00e9cider autrement et faire du Valais la terre de son c\u0153ur.
